In 2007 I implemented an extremely simple set of practices to eliminate the problem of paint/coating wastewater at no cost to my customers.
Once implemented the approach saves time and money (and was / is very inexpensive to implement).

[ Notes:
- The majority of tool cleaning is done off site and off the clock.
- An organized approach to wet storage improves day to day, week to week, and year to year productivity while extending tool life and like new performance.
- Since 07 I've diverted about 15-20 kg (dried weight) of coating solids from the local food chain.**[footnote at bottom]
- 100% of wastewater is treated by (natural) evaporation.
- Absolutely no paint waste goes down the drain. ]

Spare Food
Since 06-07 I've been proud to forward most of my PC credit card grocery points (accumulated from day to day no interest purchases) to worthy local community food programs.
